A British dad fell off a stool and died in front of his father and friends during his stag do in Benidorm,a witness claims.
The 29-year-old from Halifax, who has not been named, was sat on a bar stool at Funk Flamingo when he fell backwards, hit his head and died.
He was due to get married next month. He died on March 22,but his death has only been made public today.
‘His friends were in shock for the first minute or so’,bar manager Gaston Luciano told MailOnline.
‘Then it hit them what was happening, they were emotional and crying.’
It is not yet clear what caused the dad-of-one’s sudden death. Spanish police have described it as ‘some type of medical problem’.
They said: ‘He was treated by those present at the premises and then by the paramedics who responded to the call. The medical causes of the death are unknown.’

For roughly an hour,Gaston and medics tried to save the young man.
Gaston said: ‘I was doing CPR with the help of another customer,he was responsive for around 60 seconds and then there was nothing.
‘We tried for around 15 minutes before the ambulance arrived, then they took over and worked on him for another 45.
‘They gave him a shot of adrenaline and connected him to a machine, they did everything they could,it was so sad.’
It’s not the only stag do to take a dark turn in this popular tourist town in Alicante,Spain.
